Mindfulness Skills for Everyday Life Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction are programmes designed to alleviate the stress, anxiety and depression we often feel in the face of life’s difficulties, that have been widely approved by the international medical community, including NICE in the UK. Rooted in ancient traditions of meditation, and incorporating elements of CBT, we teach simple ways to relate to thoughts and feelings more effectively. Research has consistently shown that mindfulness can help us to enjoy greater well-being. The courses invite you to use simple meditation techniques and gentle movement, to notice thoughts, emotions or sensations that arise and to learn to be more present to your experience. The courses have no religious content.

Designed to develop mindful awareness in those of us who have found themselves trapped in habits and cycles of addictive behaviour. Many of us have an addiction of one sort or another; with mindfulness, we can learn how to take a pause, discover our triggers and destructive patterns of thought and behaviour, and choose healthier alternatives.

Individual Mindfulness-Based Self-Discovery coaching sessions Incorporating elements of Hakomi, Focusing, Internal Family Systems and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and with mindfulness at its core, Self-Discovery can offer a gentle way to study ourselves – our sometimes destructive habits and automatic reactions – by looking at the parts of us that have been put in place to protect us in the past, but are no longer serving us effectively. This is a healing method that can enable us to forgive ourselves and others for past hurts; to see past apparent blocks in relationships and life aspirations, and enable us to live more fully in the present.
